 A Word On The Restless

Many of you have seen the hit TV show Ghost Whisperer, an eventful series about a compassionate medium and a plethora of preoccupied earth bound entities. These spirits and their unfinished affairs make for great television, but in reality, do unsettled spirits rove the earth attempting to rectify unresolved affairs? My experience as a medium has led me to believe that occasionally they do!

A young lady once walked into my office accompanied by three young female spirits. Immediately, I recognized this as unusual. Spirits frequently manifest during my sessions, but rarely do they march in, single file behind the client, as these had. We sat down and I began to describe the most dominant of the young spirits to my client... a blonde, pretty and petite, with the build of dancer. As positioned my lips to tell my client this spirit's name, she knowingly cut me off.

"That's Amber," she stated knowingly.
"Yes, how do you know," I stammered. With this, my client explained to me that she and the young spirits that accompanied her had been sexually assaulted by a vicious predator. She had managed to survive his attack. The three spirits behind her had not. "They speak to me constantly," she said. "They remind me of each of his court dates. They speak to me of their anger. They let me know how important it is that I do not let him do this to anyone else."

These entities came together, not only to avenge their deaths, but to help pull a savage predator off the streets. Undoubtedly, they would not rest until they were satisfied that their assailant had been penalized for his actions.

The next time you watch a tale of a spirit with a mission, you might not want to dismiss the story line as an impossibility. In the world of the spirits, the truth is often just as real as fiction.
