 Truth In The Message

Sometimes in a reading, I give a client information that they don’t immediately understand.  Some of these clients are quick to tell me "no," but I am never put off.  I have come to understand that the truth simply may not resonate with them at that instant.

Several years ago while eating a pizza with Mark (a new friend who didn’t know I am psychic), I sensed a spirit trying to get my attention.  Gradually, I began to lead our conversation in a spiritual direction.  You know…What was your favorite movie?  Did you see the Sixth Sense?   That type of question.   

When I was satisfied that my friend was fairly open to spiritual phenomena, I proceeded to tell him what I was sensing. 

“You lost your brother or a young man who was like a brother to you. He says his name is T.  E. R. R...Terrance or Terrell, and that he was shot in the head,” I stated confidently. 

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Mark told me flatly. “My brother is fine and his name is not Terrell.”

I sat there, feeling a little confused, looking a little crazy, and trying to find a way to lead our conversation from a spiritual direction.  You know... did you see the ballgame?  Isn’t this pizza delicious?  That type of question.  But a nebulous silence hovered over the rest of our evening. 

It happened the next day that Mark and I met again, quite unexpectedly.  He and a long time friend of his (a girl he called his "play sister") were dining in a food court as I walked in for lunch.   I went over to say my hellos, and gradually, without any influence of my own our conversation took a turn in a spiritual direction.  Before I knew it, Mark’s friend and I were openly discussing loss and bereavement.

“I am very familiar with death,” she declared.  “My brother died in my arms.”

“I’m sorry to hear that,” I sympathized.  “How did he pass, and what was his name?”    I asked inquisitively.

“He was shot in the head.  His name was Terrell,” she stated sullenly. 

Mark, very disturbed at what he had witnessed, stood and excused himself from the table. 

Occasionally in a session a client will receive information that they don’t immediately understand.  It is important that this information not be disregarded.  I have found that in time spirits will reveal exactly what was meant by their words.
